Watercolor holds a special place in my heart, as it is able to capture the essence of nature in such a way that no other medium seems to be able.  The fluidity and transparency of this medium so perfectly represents the delicacy of a leaf, movement in the trees, or the rippling  of a lake's surface.  I strive to encapsulate the feelings of nature's characteristics with my watercolor paintings, so that the viewers of my work can be transported to the tranquil setting of nature; hearing the sound of leaves rustling in the wind and feeling the breeze on their skin.
